SPAMPOLICY

If you have received unsolicited junk email or SPAM from our return address please understand that Alpine Sports Club Inc. does not send unsolicited advertising. We have nothing to sell. Unfortunately there is a spammer who is using our return address to hide his identity. What integrity does he show? What credibility would his client's products or services have if he has to hide his identity? If you are receiving junk email containing our return address we ask that you do the following:
1.	Contact your ISP and request that they trace the ISP from which the SPAM is being sent. The major ISPs will often agree to collectively ban an ISP sending SPAM mail to force them to identify the client who is sending the SPAM.
2.	Under no circumstances should you ever purchase or use any product or service that is offered or requested by SPAM and junk email. You should ask your family, your friends and your business associates to do the same. Ask each of them to make the same request of their contacts. Taking notice of SPAM mail makes it viable. Do not ever use brands or purchase from companies that you have seen advertised by SPAM email.
Two further things you can do to reduce the SPAM mail on your account are:
a.	Use a service provider that has a good SPAM filter.
b.	Check your email by web mail first. SPAM almost always has an inconsistent or incoherent addressee name and subject line that makes them instantly identifiable. Delete them without opening and then logout and download the emails you do want onto your computer using your POP mail server. That way you will not get the junk in your inbox.
