The long pathway continues with a mixture of beach and track along the coast south of Whangarei

to Waipu cove and eventually to join with the Brynderwyn Walkway. Cabin accommodation with day packs.

It is an easy walk following the coast to the tip of the peninsular and then returning

through the farmland where there should be some new lambs.

Meet 10 am at Chelsea Sugar Refinery, Colonial Rd. Walk along coastal track down to Kendall Bay,

 up to a Look Out on the headland and back through Chatswood Reserve to the Sugar Refinery for lunch.

Meet at the Ferry building at 9 am.to catch the ferry to Waiheke.

Walk from Matiatia Bay round to Oneroa via clifftops and bays. Great views. Bring lunch.

The club summer camp this year will be in the Bay of Plenty with activities for kayaking and tramping close at hand. The camp will run between Christmas and New Year.

Please note that you are responsible for your own safety and to provide adequate equipment for yourself on all club trips. You must ensure that you are fit and capable of undertaking the planned trip and you must advise the leader of any medical conditions or other issues that may affect the trip. If in doubt contact the trip leader

 

    

     

Some of the trips are marked TBA = To Be Advised. That means we do not have a leader at the time the trip was posted.
